February Favourites | thegoodway

Hello loves!

How are you all doing? I hope your February has been amazing, mine definitely wasn't that bad.

So as February is over now I thought what better time than to do a monthly favourite post, I did one way back, I think it was nearly a year ago, but you guys seemed to really like it. So grab yourself a cuppa, get comfy and enjoy!

To make it easier for everyone, I broke it down into the categories Makeup, Skincare, Fashion and Lifestyle.

Skincare:

The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil

This month I had a little trip to The Body Shop, to get a few new skincare products, and this is one of them! Shockahora, I'm using something else than my Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, I know. But I have been absolutely loving this to remove my makeup at night, it's so gentle on the skin and removes all of your makeup, you can literally see how it melts off, which is so satisfying!

Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic

I've had this in my drawers for such a long time (don't worry not that long to make it go all yucky!) but haven't really ever used it. So when I finally got it out and started using it I fell in love with it, people this is such a good toner! It's so refreshing, calming and actually brightens your skin tone, which I would have never expected to happen. If you're in need for a new toner, and happen to like everything natural then definitely give this a shot!

The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Clay Mask

Another one of those products I got from The Body Shop. This was my skin savior when it was that time of the month, I had such problematic skin, like those horrible lumps under the skin, which just hurt like nothing else, and this one made them literally go away in two days, yes two!

Makeup:

Makeup Forever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation Stick

Really have been loving wearing this foundation lately! I won't say anything more about it as I'll do a review on this very very soon, so keep an eye out for that one and head over to my twitter to stay updated!

Mac Viva Glam 1 Lipstick

If you are a long term reader of my blog then you will know that I've been in love with lipstick for absolute ages! I've had this lipstick for about two years, I reckon, and have been wearing it to death, but as you can see it looks still pretty good to me. It's a beautiful true red which you can rock around Christmas time and pretty much all year round.

Mac x9 Palette in Burgundy

Such a beautiful palette, you can go all out with it or do a really neutral eye look, so versatile and luxurious! You may recognise this from  my recent blog post "Daytime Glam Makeup Look", where I have only used his palette for my eye look. I love those burgundy colours so much, and this palette offers me just that, hands the name, haha! So if you happen to want a new eyeshadow palette then give this one a go, it's worth checking it out, especially because all of the eyeshadows are in mini form!

Fashion:

Zara Trousers

God know for how long those trousers have been in the back of my wardrobe! I think I bought them around SS time in 2014, and haven't worn them, never. Which truly is a shame, because they are beautiful, white trousers with a blue print on them. I can't really say anything about the print in more detail as I'm not the best in describing such things, so I hope you forgive me.
I recently styled them with a high neck dark blue jumper, which looked amazing!

Graceland Shoes

If you don't know the shoe shop "Deichmann" then you should definitely have a browse around, one shop is in Brighton, next to H&M, and I was on the hunt for some new shoes. They have so many beautiful shoes in there at the moment, that I could have bought every single one of them, but I restrained myself and only brought two pairs with me home. These are in the style of a college shoe with a higher heel, and what makes them even more special is that the actual shoe is black but the heel is white, which makes it a bit edgier, just how I like it!

50's Hairstyle

I am all about the vintage life at the moment, everything 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's plants a big smile on my face. Why? Because I recently watched the movie "The Age of Adaline", which is a fantastic movie with brilliant actors and actresses. I fell head over heels with the main character Adaline, her style, makeup and hair was always on point, or how some like to say, on fleek. So I wanted to recreate her hair style, and pretty much transform myself into her. No worries if you'd like to know how I did this hairstyle then make sure to check my twitter, to get informed about my YouTube channel, I already filmed the video for it!

Lifestyle:

The Age of Adaline Movie

An amazing movie, which I could watch over and over again. About a young woman, born at the turn of the 20th century, is rendered ageless after an accident. After many years of hiding, she meets a man who complicates her eternal life she has settled into.

Peanut Butter and Banana Bread
