Today's post is about the new "Urban Decay Naked Skin One & Done", so if you'd like to know more about it then grab yourself a cuppa an keep on reading!
The "Naked Skin One & Done" launched as the skin base out of their Summer 2016 Collection. It's a tinted moisturiser with light coverage that is supposed to blur imperfections and after some time of using it to minimise the appearance of pores and to make your skin more radiant.
Urban Decay calls it a "Hybrid Complexion Perfector" as it's packed full with different kinds of moisturisers to keep your skin hydrated to the fullest such as "Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Powder" which contains 99 per cent of water and is, therefore, the ultimate hydrating plant. It also contains a high portion of vitamins, minerals and salicylic acid which is great if you suffer from hyperpigmentation!
In addition to that its active ingredients "Octinoxate" and "Zinc Oxide" are both acting as the sunscreen in it. I know when you usually read the ingredients list of such a product you get quite confused and think that they are not good for you because of the chemical names but really in this tinted moisturiser are only good ingredients which your skin will only benefit from.
The consistency of the actual product is thick but not as thick as a standard foundation, it feels cooling when you apply it to your face and feels super lightweight. It provides you with a light coverage but a very surprising feature to this is that you can actually build up the coverage where you need it! This tinted moisturiser leaves you with a glowy and healthy looking complexion which stays put on my skin the whole day.
As the name would suggest it's supposed to be a one step routine, only using this, and be done, which I definitely reckon is possible if you don't have major breakouts on your skin that need a bit more covering up.
Now the packaging of this product is one of those you either love or hate. A squeezing tube combined with a pump is not something very common packaging wise, but the pump delivers just the right amount of product that you need. So it's a yes from me for the squeezy tube pump.
Urban Decay offers 6 shades in total which are supposed to be suitable for everyone starting from extremely fair (hello!) to a dark complexion, so everyone has a shade to find in this range. There are 40ml of product in the the tube which is more than the average amount of a foundation but considering that it has less coverage you probably use more of it anyway that's why it's very good to have more product in it.
All in one I can only say that it's very much worth spending the £25 on it and investing for the perfect skin base for this summer!
I also wanted to quickly point out that I didn't include any swatching photos in this post as, every beauty blogger will know what I'm talking about, by the time I want to do a review and swatch something my skin decides to blossom at it's finest level. But I will definitely update you with those photos so keep your eyes peeled!
