How To Shop Early For A Season

Hello my beautiful friends,

how are you all? I hope your weekend has been absolutely fantastic and that you're enjoying Sunday to the fullest with a Sunday Roast, lots of cuppas and comfy clothes. So why don't you grab yourself a cuppa, make yourself comfortable and keep reading?

I know that a lot of people will be very disappointed to hear that, but Summer is coming slowly but surely to an end, and I couldn't be more excited! But with the colder months approaching it means that all of us head outside to the shopping centers or are hovering over their laptops surfing around the internet in search for September clothes (the weather is always really weird in September!) as well as new season stuff for AW16.

We all know that as soon as new season clothes come into the shops everyone has a look through but no one really buys any clothing for Autumn and Winter in early August, do they? No, and when it comes to September nearing Ocotober we all struggle to find something as everything seems to be gone.

So how do you shop early for a season?
I am right here to answer you this question and to give you some tips and tricks how you can get your hands on new exciting clothes without having to rush or getting overwhelmed in Summer time with Autumn clothes.

Have A Wardrobe Clear-Out

Everyone has specific items in their wardrobe that are shoved right at the very back of it and which never see the street again. So get everything laid out in your room, go threw every single item and make a pile of the things you know you'll never wear again. Things that you bought because you thought you would find a way how to wear it, but in the end never made it out of your wardrobe, put them on the pile. The Nr. 1  rule of clearing out your wardrobe is "Stay true to yourself", we all like to say these typical things like "Oh I will surely find a way of wearing that this season" or "But I've had this so for so long, I just can't get rid of it" where we actually all know that any of this is never going to happen. So be true to yourself and just put it on that pile already!

You can decide yourself if you want to sell your selected clothes and earn some money with which you can then go and buy new stuff, or if you want to donate them. A healthy mixture of both things is a great solution as well, as you and other people benefit from it.

Get An Idea Of What You Have

After you have successfully cleared out all of the things you don't need anymore, it's time to have a look at what you have left. Lay the items out in front of you and go threw them thinking what you can pair with what. Make a list of the things that are missing or your wardrobe is lacking of, this way you make shopping later on easier for yourself.

Get Some Magazines

Before we go out and actually start our shopping trip, have a quick side trip to your local supermarket or WH Smith and get yourself some magazines. Magazines are always the first ones to inform about the new season Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle wise. Have a browse threw them and get to know the newest trends, there might be something that you'll really like! But, a big but, don't get too experimental, when you shop for new clothes you can have one or two items that are a bit more leaning on the trend side and are more out there, but always remember to stick to your own style. This is so important because otherwise you'll end up doing the same clear out next year.

Shopping Time

Now it's time for the fun part, shopping. After we have been all brave and got rid of some clothes, got an idea of what's new on the market and have made ourselves a list of what we need, we can finally go out and shop. Some of you might be more of a person who goes into the stores and tries things on, some of you might be more an Online Shopper kinda girl. No matter what sort of person your are, you can now have a good old and long shopping trip. I'm not telling you to only stick to the things you have scribbled down onto your list, if some more items find their way into your bags than that's more than okay. We all have a habit of finding way more than we need but those pieces might be some you'll have for a very long time!

Have fun, wear it & own it.
