The Goodway Book Club Christmas Edition: Twelve Days of Christmas ❅Blogmas Day 22❅

Hello my shining stars,

and welcome back to Blogmas day ❅22❅! *Christmas song playing in the background* 3 days until the big day now! How crazy is that? I feel like December has gone quicker than I was able to say "Merry Christmas"... It's sad to be thinking that Christmas time will be over so soon, but I hope all of you are still enjoying the few days we have left! Anyways, let me stop rambling, grab yourself a hot chocolate, get all cosy and keep on reading!

Holly Brown has turned into the oh-so-famous Grinch. She hates Christmas itself and everything that is surrounded by it. But can you blame her after losing her beloved husband a few years ago near Christmas day and her grandma just a few weeks ago? Her husband being the one who taught her the true and lovely spirit of Christmas. These days she would do anything just to get away from all the Christmasy stuff and everyone who's in the festive spirit. So when her boss of the house sitting agency asks Holly to look after a house in Lancashire, she jumps at the opportunity to escape.

Jude Martland, the owner of the soon to be looked after house by Holly, tries to avoid Christmas at all costs as well. Poor Jude, saw his own brother run off with his fiancee the last Christmas, so no joy of celebrating festivities are left now. Though he is forced to soon return home, where he finds his house full of raging people, uninvited guests, one unwanted ex-fiancee and Tess seemingly being at the root of it all.

Whilst Holly has no shame at all for the now critical situation, Jude is ready to blame her for it. But Holly has soon come to realise that if she was searching for a place to avoid Christmas, she has come to the wrong place. This family is all about Christmas and looks forward to the festivities just as much as a child would to their presents.

Can Jude and Holly clean up the mess that Holly has done in the next twelve days until Christmas? And what will happen between the two of them after having this hate-love relationship? They will soon find themselves in a situation they never thought possible. This year is providing them with a Christmas story they shall never forget and discoveries which may change their lives forever.

This book was amazing! It has everything you would want a Christmas read to have. Beginning with the stunning sparkly cover of the book itself, and all the Christmas happenings in the story line. Trisha Ashley will have you feel like you're in the middle of the scenario yourself and sorting out the annual Christmas dramas from your family.

Cuddle up with a big cup of hot chocolate, a mince pie and a big cosy blanket and let yourself get glistened by this snowy and romantic Christmas book.
